The US state of Hawaii has put in place a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for all visitors and residents arriving from out-of-state. The quarantine is in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

All visitors to Hawaii must have a valid negative COVID-19 test result from a trusted testing partner, taken within 72 hours of their flight. They will also be required to complete a travel and health form.

Once in Hawaii, visitors and residents will be required to quarantine in their accommodation for the 14 days. They will not be able to leave their accommodation, except for essential activities such as seeking medical attention, exercising or shopping for groceries.

The self-quarantine will be strictly enforced, and anyone found to be breaking the rules may be subject to fines or even jail time.

So there you have it if you’re planning a trip to Hawaii any time soon, be prepared for a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine. And remember to get a negative COVID-19 test before you travel!

The state of Hawaii has instituted a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for all visitors and residents returning to the state. The self-quarantine must be started as soon as you arrive in Hawaii. There are only a few exceptions to this rule, which are outlined below.

If you are coming to Hawaii from another US state or territory, you are subject to the same travel restrictions as any other visitor. This means that you will need to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival, unless you can produce a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before your flight.

If you are coming to Hawaii from a country other than the US, you will need to present a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before your flight. If you cannot produce a negative test, you will be required to quarantine for 14 days.

There are a few other exceptions to the travel restrictions and quarantine requirements. These include:

– Military personnel

– Emergency responders

– Air crew members

– People travelling for medical reasons

If you are unsure whether you fall into one of the above categories, you should check with the Hawaii Department of Health before travelling.

The self-quarantine requirements are subject to change at any time, so it is important to check for updates before travelling to Hawaii.
